What A Difference A Day Makes

Today I spent most of the day heading up and down ladders and stringing new wiring in the lower barn at the in-laws. I really loving helping out with projects like that. Not only do I feel like it helps out a bit, but anytime I get to see a project finished, it's one more great feeling of accomplishment.

This simple project was to put in 10 new shop lights over the horse stalls in the barn. We fired through the first 5 today and we have 5 more to finish tomorrow. Fortunately, most of the hard work is done for tomorrow already. The wiring is already hot and we just need to install a few more outlets. Then it's a simple measuring and hanging project.

Hopefully the images above do a bit of justice to how horrible it's been in that barn to clean stalls in the dark, and likewise that the image of the lighting shows how much better it is now.
